I was able to score a touchdown and Mut 22 coins a two-point conversion on my first drive, and then I got another field goal towards the conclusion of the half making it a 11-6 lead at halftime. I opened the second half with another touchdown and, from there, I just focused on not allowing any significant play. Even though I had to give up one touchdown and a two point conversion in the second half, I was able to chew enough time to finish the game through, being aware that my opponent would require an extra touchdown to end their game.
I must admit the victory felt a bit hollow because my opponent's impatience eventually led to me losing the win. If he'd have played less and more aggressively, I'm convinced he was probably a better player, and would have beaten me. Additionally, we had fairly evenly matched squads and the more advanced Ultimate Team players basically rely on the qualities of specific cards. Even though I have a very good team but I don't have the best team. I can't cry about pay-to-win, though, because the fact is that you could give the majority of Madden NFL athletes a team of 80 overall players and they'd still beat my team of 90s.
One thing I can say is that I didn't all the time enjoy playing online. When I first started, when I was losing in embarrassing ways, I faced some toxicity. While I obviously know that I'm not great in my game and don't like losing, I faced a lot people who make fun of me and troll me, even though they were almost guaranteed a win. It was enjoyable to meet some players who offered me some suggestions, but it didn't happen.
I'd also argue that, even though the Seasons mode is designed to match you with other players at a similar level, with everything I've learned I'm not quite good enough to play even the lowest group of players online. I'm not convinced I'm just the worst Madden NFL 21 player out there, and it's interesting to me that players on the same level as me and cheap Madden nfl 22 coins surely there are many of them - do not prefer playing online.
